Inflation

By Danny G. Goe

“Invest in inflation; I hear it is going up.” America is running on empty. Empty wallets, gas tanks, and food pantries. Businesses are laying off workers. Mortgage lenders are trying to recover losses.

Home prices continue to decline. Is American in for a hard landing and that means the “D” word as in “Depression”?  While Americans heard that the sub-prime mortgage was not a problem, it seems those government numbers and jawboning was either bad opinion or disingenuous.

America ’s national debt as of June,1 $9,395,443,704,196.17 and growing.

Some legislators have supported NAFTA and CAFTA to promote sending money and jobs offshore, this does not “promote the General Welfare” of Americans.

Those big spenders are only taxing future earnings and future generations.

Grocery stores are increasing prices to maintain profits.

Four, five and six dollar per gallon gasoline is easily forecast as oil moves from $130 to $150 dollars/barrel. Some predict $200/barrel. I would bet there is an electric car in your future.

The Federal tax return of $600 or more, is just a drop in the bucket, to keep the system afloat for a short period, therefore this is just a short-term solution to a long-term problem.

American families struggle to earn and maintain a good standard of living.

Any tax increase at any level will surely be negative to that economy.

Election time you will surely hear the cry “It’s the economy stupid”

There are many scams, schemes and scoundrels, out there.

Choose wisely and vote for your favorite.
